This is one of my favorite pictures of Lil Worm. He was born early at 36 weeks and I had to leave him in the hospital. To my surprise on one of my visits the nurse drew eyes on his eye protector. I put it in Lil worms scrapbook. It made me laugh to walk in and see that and know that every day he was getting better.

So sweet! Glad all is well now.
that was so nice of the nurse to do it. You know he was taken care of by a great person. No bumpers on for us on the bowling this time. Which meant I did pretty bad.
Awwww, that was very sweet of the nurse to do that...it must have put a smile on your face during such an emotional time. All my kids were in the NICU due to being born prematurely so I know how hard it is to leave your little one behind.
My daughter needed the bili lights too and I remember thinking it looked like she was tanning!!
Yes that nurse was so sweet. they took such great care of him. My 1st son was 5 days late and this one was 4 weeks early. That put such a smile on my face to walk in and see those glasses.
