Why do you Blog?
I was first introduced to the world of Blogging through a friend of a friend. She had a Mommy blog. I thought she was crazy. Why would someone want to share their daily life with the world? Then something weird happened I started to read her blog every time she posted. Then I started to read other Mommy blogs out there and they became a escape from the everyday Mommy life. I thought to myself this would be a great way to document my everyday life so my children could read it when they get older. I also like the connections and friendships I have found through my readers . Then I thought about what to name my blog. This is a tuff one. When I started my blog at the end of July last year I had just started cloth diapering Lil Worm. I kinda was obsessed with cloth diapers and new prints so that is how I came up with my title. Wile I still love Cloth Diapers, that is just one small thing in my life. I often wonder if this title scares people away from reading my blog? I blog about so much more than just Cloth Diapers. So Ladies my question to you is Why did you start your blog? Was is hard for you come up with a name for your Blog??

I used to be a manager in retail and I missed having a voice since being a SAHM. I started reading blogs a few months before starting my own and one day the name just came to me while listening to the song!
carly.. I still wrestle with naming my blog raising normal kids.. I guess that i started out with just wanting to document my adventures with the boys and.. i said what's the one thing I want to get out of this experience... I get my blog name but i wonder if others do until they read my blurb on the side of the blog....cloth diapering never deterred me from reading you, my dear friend... hugs and love
I started my blog for some of the same reasons as you. I wanted something for me, something that I could keep track of all of those silly things that my boys say and do. I love talking about my boys, but I sometimes think people get tired of hearing me talk about my kids all of the time, so I started to blog about it! I love blogging, but I must admit it took me a while to come up with a name and I find it even harder now that I'm pregnant and have to come up with another name. I should have just called mine Raisingmykids...lol
Mine started as a "we" with my honey. We lived a few hundred miles away from our families and wanted a way to share our pregnancy with them. Then it turned in to so much more! A creative outlet for me, a family journal, and a photo archive. Only after I started mine did I realize there were a bazillion out there! And now I'm hooked. Like you, I appreciate the new "friendships" I've formed and the amazing women I've gotten know. :)
As far as the name goes, it described exactly what our blog was about-- our Baby Valone. I might just have to change it one of these days to "Family Valone"!
