What's Your New Year's Resolution?
I hope everyone had a great New Years Eve and Day. We had some family and Friends over and the adults played the game Taboo. This is a fun game. Monkey boy's cousin slept over and Monkey boy stayed up way past 12:00 am . The longest he has ever ever stayed up. I always make a New Years resolution. Sometimes its hard coming up with one. My New Years Resolution this year is to have more Patience with everyone. People who are driving and going to slow. The lady in front of you at the grocery store who has like 3 price checks. My Children who sometimes do not get in the car as fast as I would like them too. I believe that if I try to remember to have patience in these situations I will be less stressed out and enjoy life more. Tell me do you make resolutions ? If you do...... what is it?

Wow you all made it longer that night then I did. I really did not make any this year. I did tell myself I would stop thinking about the past. I hope I do. Plus more me time.. Have a great Sunday..
I can't believe Monkey boy was able to stay up so late. I didn't even last until midnight!!
I don't really make resolutions but in general I just make it a point to try to be a better person. I like what you said about patience...I could stand to work on that as well! Sometimes when the kids are moving at a snail's pace, I can feel my blood beginning to boil!!
A couple of my children stayed up to watch the ball drop too. I was out by 10pm! lol They did wake me so I could watch the ball drop with them and then we all headed to bed.
I used to always make a resolution, but then I never stuck with it, so I quit making them. However, I do try to change things in our household for the better each year after New Years. This year I would like to get more organized, which is a task with 4 boys!
This year, I would like not only to get more motivated, but to actually get things done!
