The laser treatments for the PWS can be rough (she'll probably smell burned afterwards- Reese always does), and they usually leave her in some amount of pain (I wouldn't suggest leaving the hospital without at least an Rx for a pain killer, just in case). The laser treatments don't remove it, though. It lightens it, sometimes to the point it's imperceptible, but rarely so. It never really goes away.
